Nature’s carpet, fabricated from wool, also claims that it can be installed over concrete and not using a vapor barrier as a result of it’s breathable. I wouldn't set up this over concrete, certainly not the ones with jute and or pure latex backing. A wool carpet with a synthetic backing will fare much better over concrete, in my experience.
