You can grow your own Alfalfa seeds

Watching seeds germinate is a fantastic activity for kids, especially when the seeds grow quickly. Alfalfa ( Medicago the sativa) is a very easy to grow seed that should grow in about a week. To observe the seeds sprout you can sprinkle some alfalfa seeds on a piece of damp paper towel. You'll require: Alfalfa seeds in a packet (about 1.5g) A small or small dish, or a saucer Three pieces of paper towel A small or spray mister water container How to Grow Put 3 sheets of paper towel on a dish. Too dry Seeds need water to develop. Seeds of alfalfa absorb approximately half their weight in water prior to they sprout, making them appear to be swelling. Seeds that are not moist enough will not grow. Make sure to add more water to your plate until the seeds are moist but not floating in the water. You can also soak your seeds overnight. It is possible that you will need to water your seeds more frequently if you grow them in extreme temperatures. They'll dry quicker.
