Viewers were confused by Jamie's calculations - in particular his claims that the flour used for his crispy chicken only cost 2p. However, this was based on the amount he used, rather than the entire packet

In last night's episode, Jamie cooked up a spaghetti frittata, piccalilli pork and apple pies, butternut squash dal with paneer, a chicken kebab 'fakeaway', laksa and mint choc chip 'whoopie pies' for dessert.

And while Jamie claimed in his show that each meal would work out at £1 a portion or even less, around half the meals shown cost more - for example with the pork pies at £1.31 a portion, the kebab 'fakeaway' at £1.71 and laksa at £1.33.

1. Understand the difference between 'eating healthy' and 'eating for fat loss'
On Instagram, Leanne explained that while foods like salmon, sweet potato, and olive oil are undoubtedly healthy, consuming them in large, unmeasured portions can hinder fat loss.

Rita George in this write-up gave some nutritional tips as it relates to the child growth and development. She further on some healthy food for kids and the necessary things to do when it has to do with their health.

Give the kids some control: Ask your children to take three bites of all the foods on their plate and give each one a grade, such as A, B, C, D, or F. When healthy foods -- especially certain vegetables -- get high marks, serve them more often. Offer the items your children do not like less frequently. This lets your children participate in decision-making. After all, dining is a family affair.

However, viewers have pointed out that some of the ingredients and 'store cupboard' spices he has used, such as fenugreek, Baharat spice and urad dal lentils, are not items people would typically already have in.

Eat dinner together: if this is not a habit at home, then ensure you keep to it. According to research, kids that eat dinner at the table with their parents have better nutrition and less prone to getting into serious problems as teenagers. Start gradually and finally it will become a habit.

Consult your pediatrician: Talk to your kid's pediatrician always before putting your kids on a weight loss diet or helping them to gain some weight. Do not make the mistake of diagnosing your child as too thin or heavy by yourself.

On his website, Jamie writes: 'Delicious budget-friendly food is the name of the game for Jamie's brand new show. It's packed with top money-saving tips and everyday recipes that deliver big on flavour, but go easy on your wallet.'

Don't call food either bad or good: Inform your kids of lean protein like calcium and turkey in dairy produces gives them strength. The antioxidants in fruits and vegetables add luster to skin and hair. In addition, eating a Healthy Food List breakfast can help them keep focus in class.

Avoid placing restrictions on food: The restriction of food for your kids can increase the chances of them developing eating disorders such as bulimia or anorexia in life. It can affect their growth and development negatively. Rather than stopping some food, you can talk about the various nutritional options available. Encourage them to consume more of vegetables, fruits, lean meats, whole grains, and low-quality junk foods, low-fat dairy, and processed food.

Keep healthy food at hand: Remember kids will eat what is available. So do not bury your fruit in the crisper department of your fridge, rather keep in an open bowl. You kids eat foods that are stock in the house.
