It was true, there were pages of decorations and props. We didn't order the giant spider like my sister and brother in law did, but we did buy a few things for the yard. The giant spider would never have fit on our porch, but the little ones were perfect. We also bought a few little props, like pumpkins, a door cover and clings to put on our windows. I checked out the toddler halloween costumes at the stores, but I just wasn't impressed with any of them. I'm very particular and hard to please when it comes to shopping. I was told by a friend that the little downtown costume shop was a good place to go, so I gave it a try. Still no luck in my search for a costume. That's when I did some online shopping for toddlers costumes. One thing I really liked about the site I found, was variety of costumes. They have pages of all kinds of Halloween supplies for everyone. There are so many Halloween selections for costumes, props and decorations. I thought maybe after we choose a nice little toddlers costume for our daughter, we'd check out the decorations and see if there was anything we could use. I'm a huge fan of Nigella, not because I ever cook any of her recipes - I have a phobia about ingredients, and do not possess an oven, nor much like food - but because she is so breath­takingly beautiful. Male chefs regard women who dare to have flesh on their bones as a sign of matronhood, of letting the side down, of not being attractive enough. But Nigella is bigger than Jean-Christophe in every way: he is merely jealous. She looks Italian, with a teeny waist and hair the colour of ­liquorice, so why shouldn't she cook Italian? Every costume I ran across made it even harder to make a final decision. I talked to my sister the other day to tell her about this Halloween costume and supply store they have online. She told me she already knew about it and had ordered her kids costumes and the Halloween decorations for her house. She planned to fill me in at our lunch date tomorrow. She told me her youngest is going trick or treating as a marshmallow peep, and the older child is planning on being a star wars character.
